PM Prachanda Expresses Commitment to Revitalize Country's Economy

Sudurpaschim: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has conveyed his determination to revitalize the country's economy, emphasizing his seriousness about economic reforms. Inaugurating the Sudurpaschim Mahotsav organized by the Kailali Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhangadhi, the Prime Minister expressed pride in the potential achievement of economic revitalization within the coming months.

PM Prachanda acknowledged positive signs of economic reform, including increased remittance inflow, a rise in tourist arrivals, enhanced revenue collection, and an augmentation of foreign exchange reserves. He highlighted ongoing efforts towards social justice, good governance, and overall prosperity.

During the event, PM Prachanda assured the public that he remains committed to national interests and stated that no actions contrary to the nation's well-being would be allowed during his tenure. The Prime Minister disclosed the formation of a committee to investigate the sale of Ncell's shares, emphasizing the government's commitment to addressing economic concerns.

PM Prachanda underscored the priority given to industry, education, and healthcare sectors in Sudurpaschim Province and assured the residents of the government's dedication to development initiatives. He addressed various regional projects, including the advancement of Geta Medical College, the development of Phapla Cricket Stadium, and infrastructure projects such as Urai Bhanjyang point, Dodhara Chandani Dry Port, and Pancheshwor Hydropower Project.

Additionally, the Prime Minister pledged to focus on the development of Khaptad area, Parshuram Dham, and other key sites in the province. Chief of Sudurpaschim Province, Devraj Joshi, urged the federal government to address local concerns and engage with provincial stakeholders.

During the event, PM Prachanda also addressed the special transformation campaign of the CPN (Maoist Centre) at Ghasita in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City. He reiterated the government's focus on infrastructure and economic development, good governance, and social justice. The Prime Minister affirmed efforts to deepen cooperation with neighboring India, China, and the USA for Nepal's development and pride.

Prachanda mentioned the party's plan to conduct a statute conference after completing the ongoing campaign, followed by a general convention. The ongoing campaign, according to him, has strengthened the relationship between the people and Maoist cadres, fostering renewed connections between party members, war veterans, martyrs' families, and families of the enforced disappeared.
